Here is a little ad I worked on in the summer at Tandemfilms. I designed the character and the backgrounds, and the beautiful animation has been crafted by the super talented Laura Nailor and Jeroen Jaspaert. Direction by Dan Greaves at Tandem. Like a few things we've worked on in 2009, it has sometimes been wrongly credited as Simon's cat, so sorry to spill the beans...

Voici une petite publicité pour Feliway sur laquelle j'ai travaillé cet été. J'ai créé le personnage du chat et les décors. On doit l'animation à Laura Nailor and Jeroen Jaspaert qui sont supers forts. Réalisation Dan Greaves à Tandem. Comme pas mal de trucs sur lesquels j'ai travaillé l'an dernier, ce film a été crédité `Simon's Cat', ce qui est une erreur. Pardon de casser le mythe, mais sinon on s'en sort pas...:)

Off to Paris

I'm off to Paris to work on a 3min corporate film for a French insurance company, at MrHyde, the studio who is representing me for commercials in France. I will be directed by the amazing Joris Clerté who's work I've been following for a while after meeting him a year ago. Check his work at the DoncVoila, very clever work.

Je pars à Paris pour quelques mois pour travailler sur un petit film institutionnel chez MrHyde, studio qui me représente en Gaule pour les pubs. Je vais animer sous la direction du génial Joris Clerté que j'ai rencontré l'an dernier et dont j'apprécie beaucoup le travail, notamment les petits films un peu rentre-dedans dans ce genre...

Alerte Au Gras / Fat Alert!!

Here is an entry to a competition I was keeping secret for a while. It was a 30s film about nutrition/healthy eating for TF1, a French TV channel who's commissionning films for children with a small budget but which will be broadcast. Unfortunately my proposal got rejected in the final selection, although it had passed the first one. Bugger. Oh well, maybe I'll make it anyway one day when I have time and nothing else to do. Shame, because the film would have been made at Kawanimation, who I'm a big fan of... T_T

Voilà des images du dossier que j'avais envoyé au concours TFOU pour TF1, sur le thème 'Bien manger, c'est bien joué'. Le brief était d'écrire un film de 30s pour les enfants, avec un petit budget de fabrication mais une diffusion télé à la clé. Mon dossier a finalement été rejeté à la sélection finale, il avait passé la première. Surtout que le studio Parisien super cool Kawanimation avait proposé de le produire. Crotte. T_T

Happy Brand New 2010!

But a very happy New Year to whoever reads this blog first. :0)

First a quick Christmas card I did for the agency Big Idea in December (a bit late...but if you're French, it's perfectly all right to think of sending cards at this time of year!). It was done in a bit of a rush, but I did take part in the art direction ( copy is not mine though).

Quelques petits trucs et nouvelles, mais avant tout une très bonne année aux trois / quatre amis qui lisent ce bolg. Bolg? :0)

Une petite carte de de voeux faite pour l'agence BigIdea basée à Paris, un peu vite faite manque de temps, mais j'ai participé à l'idée de base (la copy n'est pas de moi).
